The New Town (Glenrothes) Winding Up Order 1992

Section 1

This Order may be cited as the New Town (Glenrothes) Winding Up Order 1992 and shall come into force on 1st March 1992.

Section 2

In this Order, “development corporation” means the Glenrothes Development Corp oration established by the New Town (Glenrothes) Development Corporation Order 1948 .

Section 3

The development corporation shall be wound up and the winding up shall—

(a) commence on 1st March 1992; and

(b) be completed by 31st December 1995.

Section 4

The development corporation shall make an interim report to the Secretary of State on the progress of the winding up for the period from 1st March 1992 to 31st March 1993 and thereafter for the annual period to 31st March in each subsequent year, and shall submit any such report to the Secretary of State by 30th June in each year.

Section 5

The development corporation shall comply with any directions made by the Secretary of State under section 36C of the New Towns (Scotland) Act 1968 .
