Section 1 Title and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Watermark Disease (Local Authorities) (Amendment) Order 1992 and shall come into force on 10th February 1992.

Section 2 Amendment of the Watermark Disease (Local Authorities) Order 1974

The Watermark Disease (Local Authorities) Order 1974 shall be further amended by substituting–

(a) in article 8 thereof for the words “shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding £1000” the words “shall be liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding level 5 on the standard scale”;

(b) for Schedule 1 thereto (local authorities to which the Order applies) the following Schedule—

Section 3 Revocation

The Watermark Disease (Local Authorities) (Amendment) Order 1986 is hereby revoked.
