Section 1

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Insurance Companies (Amendment) Regulations 1992 and shall come into force on 24th March 1992.

(2) The Insurance Companies Regulations 1981 (“the principal regulations”) shall have effect subject to the amendment set out in these Regulations.

Section 2

In Regulation 37(1) of the principal regulations in the definition of “traded option” there shall be inserted the words “, The London International Financial Futures and Option Exchange” after the words “The International Stock Exchange of the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland Limited”.
