Section 1

This Order may be cited as the School Teachers' Pay and Conditions Act 1991 (Commencement No. 2 and Transitional Provision) Order 1992.

Section 2

In this Order “the 1991 Act ” means the School Teachers' Pay and Conditions Act 1991.

Section 3

Subject to article 4 of this Order, sections 2(1) to (6) and (8), 3 and 6(3) of and Schedule 2 to the 1991 Act shall come into force on 6th March 1992.

Section 4

Until the date on which the first pay and conditions order made under section 2(1) of the 1991 Act comes into force, nothing in article 3 above shall affect the continued operation of the Education (School Teachers' Pay and Conditions) Order 1991 .
