The Safety of Sports Grounds (Designation) Order 1992

Section 1

This Order may be cited as the Safety of Sports Grounds (Designation) Order 1992 and shall come into force on 1st June 1992.

Section 2

The sports grounds at—

(a) The Athletics Stadium, Crystal Palace National Sports Centre, Ledrington Road, London SE19; and

(b) The Don Valley Stadium, Worksop Road, Sheffield,

(being sports grounds each of which in the opinion of the Secretary of State has accommodation for more than 10,000 spectators) are hereby designated as sports grounds requiring safety certificates under the Safety of Sports Grounds Act 1975.

Section 3

In the Schedule to the Safety of Sports Grounds (Rugby Football Grounds) (Designation) Order 1985 , the entries in respect of—

(a) Crown Flatt, Dewsbury, and

(b) Craven Park, Hull,

shall be omitted.

Section 4

In Schedule 1 to the Safety of Sports Grounds (Designation) Order 1986 , the entries in respect of—

(a) Loakes Park, High Wycombe;

(b) Sheffield Sports Stadium, Penistone Road, Owlerton, Sheffield, and

(c) Yeovil Athletic Ground, Huish, Yeovil,

shall be omitted.
