Section 1 Citation, commencement and interpretation

(1) This Order may be cited as the Town and Country Planning (Use Classes) (Amendment) Order 1992 and shall come into force on 31st March 1992.

(2) In this Order “the principal Order ” means the Town and Country Planning (Use Classes) Order 1987 .

Section 2 Special Industrial Uses

(1) In article 3 of the principal Order (use classes)—

(a) in paragraph (4), for “classes B3 to B7” substitute “classes B4 to B7”;

(b) in paragraph (6), after sub-paragraph (g) insert “(h) for any work registrable under the Alkali, etc. Works Regulation Act 1906” .

(2) In Part B of the Schedule to the principal Order—

(a) in Class B2, for “classes B3 to B7” substitute “classes B4 to B7”;

(b) omit Class B3 (Special Industrial Group A).
