Section 1 Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Education (Student Loans) (Amendment) Regulations 1992 and shall come into force on 6th April 1992.

Section 2 Amendment of 1991 Regulations

The following amendments shall be made in regulation 11(5) of the Education (Student Loans) Regulations 1991 (interpretation of “disability-related benefits”)–

(a) in sub-paragraph (a), at the end the word “and” shall be omitted;

(b) in sub-paragraph (b), at the end the word “and” shall be added; and

(c) after sub-paragraph (b), there shall be added the following paragraph–

(c) a disability living allowance payable under section 37ZA of the Social Security Act 1975 and a disability working allowance payable under section 20 of the Social Security Act 1986 .
