Section 1 Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Building (Prescribed Fees etc.) (Amendment) Regulations 1992 and shall come into force on 1st June 1992.

Section 2 Amendment of the Building (Prescribed Fees etc.) Regulations 1985

Regulation 2(1) of the Building (Prescribed Fees etc.) Regulations 1985 shall be amended as follows–

(a) for the definition of “the principal regulations” there shall be substituted the definition “"the principal regulations' means the Building Regulation 1991 ”; and

(b) for the words in brackets in the definition of “small domestic building” there shall be substituted the words “(each basement level being counted as one storey).”
