Section 1 Citation, commencement and extent

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Motor Vehicles (Competitions and Trials) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 1992 and shall come into force on 3rd April 1992.

(2) These Regulations shall extend to Scotland only.

Section 2 Amendment of the Motor Vehicles (Competitions and Trials) (Scotland) Regulations 1976

For regulation 7 of the Motor Vehicles (Competitions and Trials) (Scotland) Regulations 1976 there shall be substituted the following:—

(7) The fee to be submitted with an application under regulation 6 shall be a basic fee of £53.00 for the first 50 miles or part thereof increased by £30.00 for each subsequent 50 miles or part thereof of the length of the event on the public highway; provided that if the event is not authorised, or is subsequently cancelled, the fee shall be reduced to £10.00.

Section 3 Revocations

The Motor Vehicles (Competitions and Trials) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 1983 and the Motor Vehicles (Competitions and Trials) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 1987 are hereby revoked.
