Section 1 Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Revenue Support Grant (Specified Bodies) Regulations 1992 and shall come into force on 11th February 1992.

Section 2 Revocation

In relation to any financial year beginning on or after 1st April 1992, the Rate Support Grant (Specified Bodies) Regulations 1988 , the Revenue Support Grant (Specified Bodies) Regulations 1989 , and the Revenue Support Grant (Specified Bodies) Regulations 1990 , are hereby revoked.

Section 3 Specified Bodies

The following bodies are hereby specified for the purposes of section 76(4) of the Local Government Finance Act 1988, namely:—

(a) The Local Government Management Board;

(b) The Fire Services Examinations Board;

(c) The Local Authorities' Race Relations Information Exchange;

(d) The National Foundation for Educational Research in England and Wales;

(e) The Staff College;

(f) The National Institute of Adult Continuing Education;

(g) The Local Government International Bureau; and

(h) The Local Authorities Co-ordinating Body on Trading Standards.
