Section 1 Citation, commencement and interpretation

(1) This Order may be cited as the Dundee Teaching Hospitals National Health Service Trust (Appointment of Trustees) Order 1993, and shall come into force on 30th April 1993.

(2) In this Order, unless the context otherwise requires–

“ the Act ” means the National Health Service (Scotland) Act 1978;

“the Trust” means the Dundee Teaching Hospitals National Health Service Trust.

Section 2 Appointment of trustees

The chairman, non-executive directors and executive directors of the Trust are appointed trustees ex officiis for the purpose of holding any property which is to be held in trust on behalf of the Trust under section 12G of the Act.
