Section 1 Title and commencement

This Order may be cited as the British Wool (Guaranteed Prices) (Revocation) Order 1993 and shall come into force on 1st May 1993.

Section 2 Revocation of Wool Guarantee

(1) Subject to paragraph (2) below, The British Wool (Guaranteed Prices) Order 1955 and the British Wool (Guaranteed Prices) (Amendment) Order 1976 are hereby revoked.

(2) Notwithstanding their revocation by paragraph (1) above, the Orders mentioned in that paragraph shall continue to have effect, on and after the date on which this Order comes into force, in relation to any period before that date.
