Section 1

This Order may be cited as the Arbitration (Foreign Awards) Order 1993 and shall come into force on 3rd June 1993.

Section 2

Antigua and Barbuda is a party to the New York Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards which was adopted on 10th June 1958 and came into force in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland on 23rd December 1975.

Section 3

The Arbitration (Foreign Awards) Order 1989 shall be amended by the deletion from the Schedule thereto of the words “Antigua and Barbados”.
