Section 1 Title and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Diseases of Animals (Therapeutic Substances) (Revocation) Order 1993 and shall come into force on 14th June 1993.

Section 2 Revocation

The Diseases of Animals (Therapeutic Substances) Order 1952 , the Diseases of Animals (Therapeutic Substances) (Amendment) Order 1953 and the Diseases of Animals (Therapeutic Substances) (Amendment) Order 1981 are hereby revoked.

Section 3 Amendment

(1) In the Importation of Animal Products and Poultry Products Order 1980 in the Schedule the words “to the provisions of the Diseases of Animals (Therapeutic Substances) Order 1952 or” shall be deleted.

(2) In the Channel Tunnel (Amendment of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food Import Legislation) Order 1990 in Schedule 2 the references to the Diseases of Animals (Therapeutic Substances) Order 1952 shall be deleted.
