The Combined Probation Areas (Devon) Order 1993

Section 1

This Order may be cited as the Combined Probation Areas (Devon) Order 1993 and shall come into force on 1st June 1993.

Section 2

That part of Schedule 2 to the Combined Probation Areas Order 1986 which relates to the Devon Probation Area shall be amended by—

(a) omitting the entries in respect of the petty sessions areas of Exeter and Wonford;

(b) inserting in alphabetical order in column 1 “Exeter and Wonford”, and corresponding to this in column 3 “4”.

Section 3

The four members of the Devon Probation Committee appointed before 1st June 1993 by the justices for the petty sessions areas of Exeter and Wonford shall continue in office as if they had been appointed by the justices for the new petty sessions area of Exeter and Wonford .
