Section 1

The length of trunk road described in the Schedule to this Order and shown by broad striped hatching on the deposited plan shall cease to be a trunk road and shall be classified as a classified road as from the date on which the Secretary of State notifies the County Council of Cambridgeshire that the new trunk roads referred to in article 1 of the A11 Trunk Road (A505 Junction to Four Went Ways Improvement and Slip Roads) Order 1993 are open for through traffic.

Section 2

In this Order—

(1) all measurements of distance are measured along the route of the relevant highway;

Section 3

This Order shall come into force on 23rd June 1993 and may be cited as the A11 Trunk Road (A505 Junction to Four Went Ways) (Detrunking) Order 1993.
