The A11 Trunk Road (Stump Cross to A505 Junction Improvement) (Detrunking) Order 1993

Section 1

The length of the trunk road described in the Schedule to this Order and shown by broad striped hatching on the deposited plan shall cease to be a trunk road and shall be classified as a classified road as from a date to be specified in a notice given by the Secretary of State to the County Council of Cambridgeshire who will become the highway authority responsible for that length. The date specified will be the date on which the new trunk roads are opened for through traffic.

Section 2

In this Order:

(a) all measurements of distance are measured along the route of the relevant highway;

(b)

(i) “classified road”

(ii) “the deposited plan”

(iii) “the trunk road”

(iv) “the new trunk roads”

Section 3

This Order shall come into force on 23rd June 1993 and may be cited as the A11 Trunk Road (Stump Cross to A505 Junction Improvement) (Detrunking) Order 1993.
