Section 1 Citation and commencement

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Genetically Modified Organisms (Deliberate Release) Regulations 1993 and shall come into force on 1st Febraury 1993.

Section 2 Keeping of the Register

In regulation 18 of the Genertically Modified Organisms (Deliberate Release) Regulations 1992 —

(a) in paragraph (2), for the words “paragraph (3)” there shall be substituted the words “paragraphs (30 and (3A)”;

(b) after paragraph (3) there shall be inserted the following paragraph—

(3A) The information prescribed in regulation 17(3)(h) shall be placed on the register within fourteen days of the receipt by the Secretary of State of the committee’s advice.
