Section 1 Citation, commencement and interpretation

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Education (Access Funds) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 1993 and shall come into force on 1st September 1993.

(2) In these Regulations “the principal Regulations ” means the Education (Access Funds) (Scotland) Regulations 1990( ).

Section 2 Amendments to the principal Regulations

Regulation 2 of the principal Regulations is amended–

(a) by substituting for paragraph (b) the following paragraph:–

(b) an institution within the higher education sector, within the meaning of section 56(2) of the Further and Higher Education (Scotland) Act 1992( ), to the managers of the institution;

(b) by adding at the end of paragraph (e) the words “to the managers of the college.”.
