The length of the Trunk Road described in the Schedule to this Order and shown by a dotted line and marked A on the deposited plan shall cease to be a trunk road and shall be classified as a classified road as from the date on which the Secretary of State notifies the County Council of Warwickshire and Metropolitan Borough of Solihull that the new trunk road is open for through traffic.

The A45 Trunk Road (Middle Bickenhill to Stonebridge) (De-Trunking) Order 1993
In this Order—
(a) “classified road” as a classification for a highway, means that the highway is not a principal road for the purposes of enactments or instruments which refer to highways classified as principal roads but is a classified road for the purpose of every enactment and instrument which refers to highways classified by the Secretary of State and which does not specifically refer to their classification as principal roads;
(b) “the deposited plan” means the plan contained in the plan folio numbered HA10/2WM/163 marked “The A45 Trunk Road”(Middle Bickenhill to Stonebridge) (De-Trunking) Order 1993 signed by authority of the Secretary of State and deposited at the Department of Transport, Room AG23, 43 Marsham Street, London, SW1P 3PY;
(c) “the new trunk road” means the highway to be provided by the Secretary of State in pursuance of the A45/A452 Trunk Roads (Stonebridge Grade Separation) Order 1993;
(d) “the Trunk Road” means the Birmingham–Upper Heyford Trunk Road.
This Order shall come into force on 23rd September 1993 and may be cited as the A45 Trunk Road (Middle Bickenhill to Stonebridge) (De-Trunking) Order 1993.
