Section 1

(1) This Order may be cited as the Commissioners for Oaths (Fees) Order 1993 and shall come into force on 18th October 1993.

(2) In this Order “commissioner for oaths” includes a solicitor exercising the powers of a commissioner for oaths under section 81 of the Solicitors Act 1974 but does not include any person on whom the powers of commissioners for oaths are conferred by virtue only of section 113 of the Courts and Legal Services Act 1990 .

The following fees (inclusive of value added tax where payable) shall be charged by commissioners for oaths:–

The Commissioner for Oaths (Fees)( No. 2) Order 1988 is hereby revoked, save as to any fee due or payable before the coming into force of this Order.
