Section 1 Citation, commencement and interpretation.

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Police (Amendment) (No. 4) Regulations 1993 and shall come into force on 22nd November 1993, but regulation 2 shall have effect as from 1st April 1993 and regulations 3 and 4 shall have effect as from 1st September 1993.

(2) In these Regulations “the principal Regulations ” means the Police Regulations 1987 .

Section 2 Removal allowance

Regulation 53(7) of the principal Regulations is amended by substituting for the figure “£1,257” the figure “£1,290”.

Section 3 Scales of pay

Schedule 5 to the principal Regulations is amended by substituting for Tables A and B the tables set out in the Schedule to these Regulations.

Section 4 Dog handler’s allowance

Schedule 11 to the principal Regulations is amended by substituting for the figure “£915” the figure “£930” and for the figure “£1,251” the figure “£1,269”.
