Section 1 Citation, commencement and interpretation

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Police Cadets (Amendment) Regulations 1993 and shall come into force on 22nd November 1993, but regulation 2 shall have effect as from 1st September 1992.

(2) In these Regulations “the principal Regulations ” means the Police Cadets Regulations 1979 .

Section 2 Pay

(1) Regulation 13(1)(a) of the principal Regulations is amended by substituting —

(a) for the words “1st July 1991” the words “1st September 1992”; and

(b) for the words “31st August 1991” the words “31st August 1993”.

(2) Schedule 2 to the principal Regulations is amended by substituting for the Table—

Table

Section 3 Charge for board and lodging

Paragraph 2 of Schedule 3 to the principal Regulations is amended by substituting for the figure “£639” the figure “£675” and for the figure “£591” the figure “£624”.
