The Arms Control and Disarmament (Privileges and Immunities) Act 1988 (Guernsey) Order 1993

Section 1

This Order may be cited as the Arms Control and Disarmament (Privileges and Immunities) Act 1988 (Guernsey) Order 1993 and shall come into force forthwith.

Section 2

The Arms Control and Disarmament (Privileges and Immunities) Act 1988 shall extend to the Bailiwick of Guernsey, subject to the following modifications:

(a) section 1(1) shall be omitted;

(b) in section 1(2) for the words “Act of 1964” there shall be substituted the words “the Diplomatic Privileges Act 1964 as it has effect in the United Kingdom”; and the words following “disarmament” shall be omitted;

(c) in section 1(3) for the words “the Secretary of State” there shall be substituted the words “Her Majesty’s Attorney General for Guernsey”;

(d) in section 2, subsections (2) and (3) shall be omitted.
