Section 1Citation and commencement
These Regulations may be cited as the Local Government Act 1988 (Defined Activities) (Specified Period) (Woking Borough Council) Regulations 1993 and shall come into force on 30th August 1993.

Section 2Variation of period
(1) This regulation applies to catering carried out at the Woking Leisure Centre, Woking Park, Kingfield Road, Woking, at any time during the period beginning on 30th August 1993 and ending on 28th July 1996.
(2) Part II of Schedule 2 to the Local Government Act 1988 (Defined Activities) (Specified Period) (England) Regulations 1988 shall apply to work to which this regulation applies as if for the period of 4 years specified in column (2) there were substituted a period of 2 years 10 months and 4 weeks.
