Section 1Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Local Government Act 1988 (Defined Activities) (Exemption) (Wales) Order 1993 and shall come into force on 1st January 1994.

Section 2Exemption

The maintenance of ground by Neath Borough Council shall not be treated as a defined activity within the meaning of section 2(2)(f) of the Local Government Act 1988 so long as and insofar as it is undertaken at the Gnoll Estate, Neath between 1st January 1994 and 31st December 1996.
