Section 1 Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Local Government Act 1988 (Defined Activities) (Exemption) (Wales) (No. 2) Order 1993 and shall come into force on 1st January 1994.

Section 2 Exemption

Cleaning of buildings, other cleaning and maintenance of ground, being, respectively, defined activities within section 2(2)(b), (c) and (f) of the Local Government Act 1988, shall not be treated as such defined activities so long as and in so far as they are undertaken by Gwent County Council at Festival Park, Victoria, Ebbw Vale between 1st January 1994 and 1st October 1996.
