Section 1 Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Income Support (General) Amendment Regulations 1993 and shall come into force on 2nd February 1993.

Section 2 Amendment of paragraph 1 of Schedule 3 to the Income Support Regulations

In paragraph 1 of Schedule 3 (eligible housing costs) to the Income Support (General) Regulations 1987 —

(a) in sub-paragraph (b) after the words “as the home” there shall be inserted the words—

, including interest on a loan for any service charge imposed to meet the cost of such repairs and improvements;

(b) sub-paragraph (h) shall be omitted.
