Section 1Citation and commencement
This Order may be cited as the Durham and Tyne and Wear (County and District Boundaries) (Variation) Order 1993, and shall come into force on 1st April 1994.

Section 2Variations in respect of metropolitan borough wards
(1) The Durham and Tyne and Wear (County and District Boundaries) Order 1992 shall be varied as provided in paragraphs (2) and (3).
(2) For the Table in article 5(1), there shall be substituted the following
TABLE
(3) For map 2 of the maps marked “Maps of the Durham and Tyne and Wear (County and District Boundaries) Order 1992”, there shall be substituted the map prepared by the Department of the Environment marked “Map of the Durham and Tyne and Wear (County and District Boundaries) (Variation) Order 1993” and deposited in accordance with regulation 5 of the Local Government Area Changes Regulations 1976 .
