Section 1 Citation and commencement

(1) This Order may be cited as the Hong Kong (Legislative Powers) (Amendment) Order 1993.

(2) This Order shall come into force on 31st January 1994.

Section 2 Additional powers of the legislature of Hong Kong

The Hong Kong (Legislative Powers) Order 1986 shall be amended as follows—

(a) In Article 2, after “(iii) admiralty jurisdiction”, the full stop shall be replaced by a comma;

(b) In Article 2, at the end there shall be added:—

(iv) fugitive offenders,

(v) intellectual property,

(vi) protection of trading interests,

(vii) outer space.
