Section 1Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Social Security (Invalid Care Allowance) Amendment Regulations 1993 and shall come into force on 12th April 1993.

Section 2Amendment of the Social Security (Invalid Care Allowance) Regulations 1976

In regulation 8(1) of the Social Security (Invalid Care Allowance) Regulations 1976 (circumstances in which a person is or is not to be treated as gainfully employed), for the sum of “£40” in each place where it occurs there shall be substituted the sum of “£50”.

Section 3Revocation

Regulation 3 of the Social Security (Invalid Care Allowance) Amendment Regulations 1992 is hereby revoked.
