The official health certification accompanying cattle and swine imported into Great Britain must confirm that the animals in question have never been vaccinated against Foot and Mouth Disease.
The official health certificate accompanying all swine imported into Great Britain from Spain must state that the animals comply with Council Decision 89/21/EEC of 14th December 1988 derogating from prohibitions relating to African swine fever from certain areas in Spain.
The official health certificate accompanying all cattle exported from Great Britain must contain the statement “They are animals in accordance with Commission Decision 89/ 469/EEC of 28th July 1989 as amended by Commission Decision 90/261/EEC of 8th June 1990 concerning certain protection measures relating to bovine spongiform encephalopathy in the United Kingdom” (OJ Nos. The official health certificate accompanying all cattle imported into Great Britain from Italy must contain the statement “Live cattle in accordance with Commission Decision 91/ 56/EEC on contagious bovine pleuro-pneumonia” (OJ No. L35, 7.2.91, p.29).

In the case of pigs for breeding, the test used was the whole virus ELISA /ELISA for g1 antibodies (delete where applicable)” (OJ No. L16, 25.1.93, p.18).
The official health certificate accompanying all cattle exported from Great Britain to Denmark must contain the statement “Bovines in accordance with Commission Decision 93/42/EEC of 21st December 1992 concerning IBR for bovines being sent to Denmark” (OJ No. L16, 25.1.93, p.50).
