Section 1

These Regulations may be cited as the Merchant Shipping (Light Dues) (Amendment) Regulations 1993 and shall come into force on 1st April 1993.

Section 2

The Merchant Shipping (Light Dues) Regulations 1990 shall be amended in the Schedule thereto as follows—

(a) in paragraph 1(1) of Part I (Scale of Payments)—

for “£60” substitute “£62”

for “41.5 pence” (in both places) substitute “43 pence”;

for “83 pence” substitute “86 pence”;

(b) in paragraph 2 of Part I—

Tugs and registered fishing vessels

in sub-paragraph (1)(a), for “£205” and “£21” substitute “£212”and “£22” respectively;

in sub-paragraph (1)(b), for “£115” and “£12” substitute “£119”and “£12.50” respectively;

in sub-paragraphs (2) and (3), amend the minimum payments from “£60” to “£62” in each case.

Pleasure Craft

in sub-paragraph (4), for “£78” substitute “£81”; and for “£26”substitute “£27”;

in sub-paragraph (5), for “£26” substitute “£27”.
