The Combined Probation Areas (Powys) Order 1993

Section 1

This Order may be cited as the Combined Probation Areas (Powys) Order 1993 and shall come into force forthwith.

Section 2

That part of Schedule 2 to the Combined Probation Areas Order 1986 which relates to the Powys Probation Area shall be amended by substituting for “Llandrindod Wells” in column 1 the words “Radnorshire and North Brecknock”.

Section 3

The two members of the Powys Probation Committee appointed before 1st January 1993 by the justices for the petty sessions area of Llandrindod Wells shall from the date on which this Order comes into force be members of the Committee as if they had been appointed by the justices for the new petty sessions area of Radnorshire and North Brecknock and shall hold office until 31st March 1993.
