Section 1 Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Education (Fees and Awards) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 1993 and shall come into force on 1st April 1993.

Section 2 Amendment to the principal regulations

In regulation 4(1) of the Education (Fees and Awards) (Scotland) Regulations 1983 for the words “a designated institution within the meaning of section 44(2) of the Further and Higher Education (Scotland) Act 1992” there shall be substituted the words “an institution within the higher education sector as defined in section 56(2) of the Further and Higher Education (Scotland) Act 1992” .
