Section 1

This Order may be cited as the Education (Higher Education Corporations) (Wales) (No.3) Order 1993 and shall come into force on 5th February 1993.

Section 2

There shall be established as from 6th February 1993, a body corporate by the name of the North East Wales Institute of Higher Education Higher Education Corporation to conduct, as from 1st April 1993, the institution known as the North East Wales Institute of Higher Education, being an institution which appears to the Secretary of State to satisfy the criteria set out in section 122(1) of the Education Reform Act 1988.

Section 3

1st April 1993 is hereby appointed as the transfer date for the said body corporate for the purposes of section 126 of the Act.
