The Rules of the Air (Second Amendment) Regulations 1993

Section 1

These Regulations may be cited as the Rules of the Air (Second Amendment) Regulations 1993 and shall come into force on 1st April 1993.

Section 2

The Schedule to the Rules of the Air Regulations 1991 shall be amended as follows:

(1) For rule 5(2)(b) there shall be substituted:

(b) Paragraphs (1)(a)(ii), (1)(c), (1)(d) and (1)(e) shall not apply to an aircraft flying under and in accordance with the terms of a police air operator’s certificate.

(2) At the end of rule 17(1) there shall be added:

Provided that subparagraphs (c) and (e) of this paragraph shall not apply to an aircraft which is flying under and in accordance with the terms of a police air operator’s certificate.
