Section 1Citation and commencement
This Order may be cited as the National Health Service Act 1977 (Composition of Medical Practices Committee) Modification Order 1993 and shall come into force on 21st April 1993.

Section 2Modification of section 7(1)(b) of the National Health Service Act 1977
In section 7(1) of the National Health Service Act 1977 (Composition of Medical Practices Committee) paragraph (b) shall have effect subject to the following modifications—
(a) for “six” there shall be substituted “five” in both places where it occurs; and
(b) for “five” there shall be substituted “four”.
