Section 1Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Assured Tenancies (Exceptions) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 1993 and shall come into force on 5th May 1993.

Section 2Amendment of Assured Tenancies (Exceptions) (Scotland) Regulations 1988

For paragraph (c) of regulation 2 of the Assured Tenancies (Exceptions) (Scotland) Regulations 1988( ) there shall be substituted the following paragraph:–

(c) any designated institution within the meaning of section 44(2) of the Further and Higher Education (Scotland) Act 1992( );

Section 3Amendment of Assured Tenancies (Exceptions) (Scotland) Regulations 1988

After paragraph (d) of that regulation there shall be inserted the following paragraph:–

(dd) any college of further education which is managed by a board of management in terms of Part I of the Further and Higher Education (Scotland) Act 1992
