Section 1 Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Wildlife and Countryside (Registration and Ringing of Certain Captive Birds) (Amendment) Regulations 1994 and shall come into force on 24th May 1994.

Section 2 Citation and commencement

The Wildlife and Countryside (Registration and Ringing of Certain Captive Birds) Regulations 1982 shall be amended as follows—

(a) for paragraph (1) of regulation 5 there shall be substituted—

(1) Every bird to which these regulations apply shall be ringed with a ring obtained from the Secretary of State.

(b) the Schedule shall be omitted.
