Section 1

These Regulations may be cited as the Goods Vehicles (Operators' Licences, Qualifications and Fees) (Amendment) Regulations 1994 and shall come into force on 1st June 1994.

Section 2

(1) The Goods Vehicles (Operators' Licences, Qualifications and Fees) Regulations 1984 shall be amended as follows.

(2) In regulation 35(1A)—

(a) for the words “1st April 1993” there shall be substituted the words “1st June 1994”;

(b) in sub-paragraph (a) for “£170” there shall be substituted “£185”; and

(c) in sub-paragraph (b) for “£7” there shall be substituted “£8”.

(3) In regulation 35(1B)—

(a) for the words “1st April 1993” there shall be substituted the words “1st June 1994”;

(b) in sub-paragraph (a) for “£7” there shall be substituted “£8”; and

(c) in sub-paragraph (b) for “£170” there shall be substituted “£185”.

Section 3

Nothing in regulation 2 of these Regulations affects the fee payable in respect of the grant or variation of a licence before 1st June 1994.
