Section 1 Citation, commencement and interpretation

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Regional and District Health Authorities (Membership and Procedure) Amendment Regulations 1994 and shall come into force on 1st June 1994.

(2) In these Regulations “the 1990 Regulations ” means the Regional and District Health Authorities (Membership and Procedure) Regulations 1990 .

Section 2 Amendment of the 1990 Regulations

In Part I of Schedule 1 to the 1990 Regulations (District Health Authorities with a University Member)—

(a) for “Newcastle Health Authority”, there shall be substituted “Newcastle and North Tyneside Health Authority”; and

(b) after “South Birmingham Health Authority”, there shall be inserted “South East London Health Authority”.
