Section 1Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Collective Enfranchisement and Tenants' Audit (Qualified Surveyors) Regulations 1994 and shall come into force on 7th June 1994.

Section 2Qualified surveyors

A requirement prescribed under sections 13(7) and 78(5) of the Leasehold Reform, Housing and Urban Development Act 1993 (meaning of “qualified surveyor”) is that a person is a member or fellow of the Architects and Surveyors Institute.
