Section 1Citation and commencement
These Regulations may be cited as the National Health Service (Optical Charges and Payments) Amendment Regulations 1994 and shall come into force on 21st February 1994.

Section 2Amendment of regulation 1 of the National Health Service (Optical Charges and Payments) Regulations 1989
In regulation 1(2) of the National Health Service (Optical Charges and Payments) Regulations 1989 (interpretation), in the definition of “ NHS sight test fee”—
(a) in sub-paragraph (a), for “£33.75p” there is substituted “£34.22”; and
(b) in sub-paragraph (b), for “£12.75p” there is substituted “£12.92”.
