Section 1Citation and commencement
This Order may be cited as the Education (Special Educational Needs Code of Practice) (Appointed Day) Order 1994 and shall come into force on 1st September 1994.

Section 2Appointed Day
1st September 1994 is hereby appointed as the day on which the Code of Practice on the Identification and Assessment of Special Educational Needs issued pursuant to Section 158(4) of the Education Act 1993 on 25th May 1994 shall come into effect.
