Section 1

(1) This Order may be cited as the Cleveland Tertiary College (Incorporation) Order 1994 and shall come into force on 29th June 1994 (“the Commencement Date”).

Section 2

On the Commencement date there shall be established a body corporate called “Cleveland Tertiary College” for the purpose of establishing and conducting from the operative date a new educational institution of that name (to be formed by the merger of Cleveland College of Further Education and Sir William Turner’s Sixth Form College, Redcar).

Section 3

The “operative date” in relation to the further education corporation established by this Order shall be 1st August 1994, and the corporation shall conduct Cleveland Tertiary College from that date.
