The Education (Further Education Corporations) Order 1994

Section 1

This Order may be cited as the Education (Further Education Corporations) Order 1994 and shall come into force on 30th June 1994 (“the Commencement Date”).

Section 2

On the Commencement Date there shall be established a body corporate called “Coleg Menai” for the purpose of establishing and conducting from the operative date a new educational institution of that name (to be formed by the merger of Gwynedd Technical College and Coleg Pencraig).

Section 3

The “operative date”, in relation to the further education corporation established by this Order and the institution it is to conduct, shall be 1st August 1994.
