Section 1

This Order may be cited as the Education (Chief Inspector of Schools in England) Order 1994 and shall come into force on 31st August 1994.

Section 2

Christopher Anthony Woodhead is hereby appointed Her Majestys Chief Inspector of Schools in England for a period of five years from 1st September 1994.

Section 3

The Education (Chief Inspector of Schools in England) Order 1992 is hereby revoked.
