Section 1

The Cheshire County Council (Trent and Mersey Canal Bridge Wheelock) Scheme 1993 (hereinafter referred to as “the Scheme”) is hereby confirmed.

Section 2

The Scheme as confirmed is set out in the Schedule hereto and copies of the Scheme with its accompanying plans are deposited at the offices of the Department of Transport, 43 Marsham Street, London SW1P 3PY and the offices of Cheshire County Council, Legal and Members Services, County Hall, Chester CH1 1SF.

Section 3

The Scheme will become operative on the date on which notice that it has been confirmed is first published in accordance with paragraph 1 of Schedule 2 to the Highways Act 1980.

Section 4

This Instrument may be cited as The Cheshire County Council (Trent and Mersey Canal Bridge, Wheelock) Scheme 1993 Confirmation Instrument 1994.

Section 1

The Council are authorised to construct over the navigable waters of the Trent and Mersey Canal the bridge specified in the Schedule to this Scheme as part of the highway which they are proposing to construct between the A534 Haslington Bypass and the A534 Sandbach Inner Relief Road, in the Borough of Congleton in the County of Cheshire.

This Scheme may be cited as the Cheshire County Council (Trent and Mersey Canal Bridge, Wheelock) Scheme 1993.
