The new highway which the Secretary of State proposes to construct along the route described in the Schedule to this Order to connect the trunk road with the A4087 Caernarfon Road at the place stated in that Schedule (the highway along the route being in this Order referred to as “the slip road”) shall become a trunk road as from the date when this Order comes into force.

The centre line of the new slip road is indicated by a heavy black line on the deposited plan.
In this Order:—
All measurements of distance are measured along the route of the relevant highway:
“the deposited plan” means the plan numbered HA 10/2 W0107 marked “The London–Holyhead Trunk Road (A5) (Bangor Bypass Section) (Eastbound On Slip Road from A4087 Caernarfon Road) Order 1994” signed by authority of the Secretary of State for Wales, and deposited at the Welsh Office Repository, Curran Embankment, Cardiff;
“the slip road” has the meaning given in article 1 of this Order;
“the trunk road” means the London–Holyhead Trunk Road (A5).
This Order shall come into force on 18th August 1994 and may be cited as The London–Holyhead Trunk Road (A5) (Bangor Bypass Section) (Eastbound On Slip Road from A4087 Caernarfon Road) Order 1994.
